[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It was just another evening when one of our team member got the news that his brother had met with a serious accident and that there was a possibility of amputing his leg. Our colleague was obviously very disturbed and felt helpless being so far away and requested for an early sign off. He broke down completely and was cursing his fate that in his last ship too he had to get off just after 4 days of signing on as he lost his father.
The Esperanza N family came together to find a solution for our colleague’s problem and help him overcome it. We contributed to raise money for his brothers medical expenses. We managed to put together a huge amount and when we broke the news to our colleague, he just couldn’t hold back his tears. We realized that seafarers are made special and have big hearts and that friendship does not always begin and end at the gangway!
A special thanks to Team Synergy , particularly Mr. Saji Kumar from Singapore office and Manning department in Chennai as they not only approved the special allotment for him, but also approved an increment in salary for our team member, which was unprecedented and was a great help for him.
